This page contains guidance for all public authorities on producing and maintaining an online log of information disclosed in response to Freedom of Information requests.
In addition to the publication scheme, which all public authorities are required to maintain under section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act, we encourage public authorities also to produce an online log of the information they disclose under the Act.
This helps customers see what information has already been disclosed, and can reduce repeated requests for the same information. It also helps public authorities identify new classes of information for their publication schemes.
